This set includes not only high-quality dinosaurs but also rocks, egg nests, trees, and a case. However, the dinosaurs don’t fit in the container, so I had to find an alternative storage solution. It’s a lot of fun, especially with the cute little dinosaur cars included!

I purchased these for my daughter, who is a big fan of dinosaurs. There are so many varieties that I can’t even name them all! The figures are made of good-quality plastic and rubber. She discovered her favorite, the horned rex, and now she takes it everywhere with her.

This set arrives in a sturdy plastic bucket that doubles as storage for the dinosaurs, which is a nice touch if you don’t have another option. I do have my own storage, but the bucket is so appealing that I’m repurposing it for art supplies. Just a heads up: if you intend to use the bucket for storage, young children might need assistance fitting the dinosaurs inside, as it’s a snug fit. However, I found that even when I tossed them in carelessly like a kid might, I could manage to close the lid with a bit of rearranging.
The set features an array of environmental accessories, including a large play mat that folds up nicely for easy storage. Since it’s made of plastic, durability seems promising. The fallen log is a unique addition that I haven’t seen in many other sets, and it comes with two palm trees. While the palm trees are on the shorter side, it’s a fun detail that they include coconuts.
One of my favorite aspects is the level of detail on the dinosaurs. Their sculpting and painting are impressive, and they are sized consistently enough to play with as a set. There are a couple of larger dinosaurs, a T-rex and a stegosaurus, which adds a nice touch of variety—many kids will enjoy having these “extra strong” figures. The biggest dinosaurs are about the size of my hand, while the smallest are roughly half that size.

The playmat features a variety of engaging environments, although it’s amusing to see animals that didn’t exist during the dinosaur age! The kit enhances the experience with a log, trees, and a nest to help set the scene.
The dinosaurs are great, and while we enjoy the dinosaur “cars,” they feel somewhat out of place alongside the rest of the set, much like some of the scenes on the mat. Nevertheless, that won’t hinder the fun for kids.
All the pieces come in a storage bin, but the lid doesn’t secure tightly. If you carry it by the handle, there’s a good chance you’ll end up picking up scattered pieces. More concerning is whether kids can manage to repack everything when they finish playing. We might just leave the dino cars out or find a larger tote to keep everything together.
In my opinion, the set is overpriced at the original price, but it’s currently on sale and has a coupon, making it a more reasonable value.
