My daughter is really into this phone! She plays the songs all the time. The rendition of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” sounds like a chorus for Kim Jong Un – it’s quite amusing! The landmarks are in English but have a difficult-to-understand Chinese accent. On the plus side, the battery life is impressive, and it charges conveniently with a USB-C, which we already use for our phones. Plus, there’s no internet access, so safety is a non-issue. My three-year-old now feels like she has her own “real” phone and leaves mine alone. Overall, it’s a decent option for a three-year-old, but I doubt it would capture the interest of kids older than five. I did take off one star because it scratched easily after a drop, and I think it should be more durable for kids this age. The camera works, but the quality isn’t great—though that’s to be expected in a toy.
