This squeaky shark is fantastic! Our dog Mako (who we affectionately call a land shark š) absolutely adores it! It’s the first toy for aggressive chewers that hasnāt had the squeaker ripped out or been shredded to bits. Weāve had it for almost a week now, and this shark is still intact. Another bonus is that the squeak isnāt overly loud or annoying, although we do have to hide it at night or early mornings because Mako loves it so much.
We really appreciate the combination of the soft, durable rubber core and the squeaker, which is well-protected by the solid, food-grade chewable nylon head and tail. It truly offers the best of both worlds!
I donāt usually write such enthusiastic reviews, so I promise Iām not overdoing itāI just genuinely love this dog toy. Mako is part hyena and needs to chew! Itās heartbreaking to see his sad face when we have to toss a destroyed toy. Iāll definitely recommend this shark toy and purchase it again!

We have a Bernese who is an aggressive chewer, so we thought this toy would be a good fit. The middle part of the fish is fine, but the head and tail are made of an extremely hard material that feels almost like stone. After just 10 minutes, it cut his gums and left sharp grooves on the toy. This was a terrible purchase, especially considering the price! I donāt even want to go through the hassle of returning it for a refund. If I hadnāt been watching him, Iām sure we would have ended up at the vet for a broken tooth or at least bleeding gums.

I have a serious chewer on my handsāmy one-year-old pup, Ryder. We’ve lost countless shoes and various items like CDs, plastic containers, and toys. I bought these chew toys along with another brand in a two-pack, and they’ve been a game changer for us. As long as Ryder has one of these toys, our home is safe from her destructive chewing.
Ryder is a Lab/Malinois mix with an insatiable urge to chew. We really love this particular version of the chew toys because it features a squeaker in the middle, but it’s tough for her to bite hard enough to make it squeak. Plus, the design prevents her from removing the squeaker! When she finally figures out how to make it squeak, she gets so excited, but the sound isn’t loud or annoying, and she can’t do it for long.
I’ll definitely be buying more of these as backups. After a month of use, they still look pretty goodāsure, there are some scuff marks, but they’re holding up well. I think they could last anywhere from six months to a year, or even longer. They also withstand the weather if left outside.
The only downside is that these toys are hefty, so when Ryder brings one to me and drops it on my foot, it can be quite painfulāespecially if I’m barefoot. Trust me, if you kick one in the middle of the night, you’ll remember it! But overall, this chew toy is fantastic, well-designed, and has saved us from more shoe and household item casualties.
We have another dog who isnāt interested in these toys at all; he prefers to chew paper like bills and important documents. So it’s just Ryder who enjoys these, and theyāve truly been a lifesaver. I highly recommend them for anyone dealing with a hard-core chewer.

Overall, I would purchase this again; I likely will when this one eventually gives out. It was definitely worth the price.
